(VOVWORLD) - The Party Central Committee's Commission for Information and Education has launched a national photo contest entitled “Proud of the border line” 2022 to reflect the correctness of the Party’s guideline, State policies, and localities’ effort to implement a resolution of the Politburo on national border defense and improve people’s awareness on border issues.

The contest acknowledges and honors sacrifice and contributions of ordinary people and the armed forces in protecting national independence, sovereignty, unity, and territorial integrity and rekindles patriotism, national pride, and responsibility to national defense and construction. The contest opens to all Vietnamese citizens living inside and outside Vietnam and foreigners living and working in Vietnam.
Entries are photos featuring the beauty of the border landscapes and the daily life and activities of people in border localities, especially ethnic minority people and religious followers. The topic covers Vietnam’s renewal and international integration achievements at border areas and efforts of border localities to maintain security, stability, and peaceful, friendly, cooperative border areas.
