Russia’s October Revolution celebrated worldwide

(VOVWORLD) - Tens of thousands of people representing Russia’s leftist parties and more than 130 delegations from 80 countries on Tuesday in Moscow celebrated the 100th anniversary of Russia’s October Revolution on November 7, 1917. 

An exhibition, displaying 500 objects and artworks, was held at the Berlin History Museum to provide an insight into the historic event.

Conferences and cultural exchanges about the Russian October Revolution are organized in Bolivia. A ceremony marking the anniversary was held in Caracas, Venezuela. Argentina’s left-wing press published articles praising the Russian October Revolution, the Bolshevik Revolution, and the Socialist Revolution in the Soviet Union.

In Vietnam, the Khanh Hoa Friendship Organizations Association and the Khanh Hoa Vietnam-Russia Friendship Association on Tuesday met Russians living in the province. The Quang Binh Political Institute hosted a conference on how the Russian October Revolution influenced Vietnam’s revolution. A photo display is open in Dak Lak province to mark the historic occasion.
