(VOVworld) - Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc has met workers in the south in Dong Nai province on Saturday to mark the International Labor Day on May 1.

More than 3,000 workers from southern industrial zones and export processing zones joined the dialogue to get updated about the Party and State’s policy to care for workers’ legitimate rights. The Prime Minister reiterated the Party and State’s determination to improve workers’ living standards through inflation and price control. He asked local provinces to set up convenient retail stores and ensure sufficient staples to ensure workers’ health. He asked for housing and kindergarten facilities to be built in tandem with industrial zones and export processing zones. He urged employers to facilitate workers’ need to improve their professional skills.
