Talking to representatives from the state of Thuringia, its Parliament, chamber of commerce and industry (IHK) and its development agency on Wednesday, Hung highlighted Vietnam’s political and social stability and its determination to speed up industrialization, modernization, and international integration.

He said the Vietnam-Germany Strategic Partnership has developed fruitfully in recent time, and that former President Truong Tan Sang’s visit to Germany last year opened great cooperation opportunities for the two countries’ enterprises.

Thuringia State Governor Bodo Ramelow urged mutual cooperation in renewable energy, glass manufacturing technology, vocational training, and nursing.

Christian Carius, President of the State Parliament of Thuringia, praised Vietnam’s socio-economic achievements and said Germany is ready to facilitate conditions for both sides to develop.
