The event reaffirmed the Vietnamese government’s commitments to preventing human trafficking. Ha Thi Nga, Chairwoman of the Vietnam Women's Union, said that the Union will continue boosting collaboration with ministries, agencies, and organizations and contributing to fine-tuning legislation on preventing and combating human trafficking.

"We will continue to empower our members, equipping them with the necessary tools and support to improve their lives as we aim to mitigate the risk of them falling victim to human trafficking," she said.

Park Mihyung, Chief of Mission of the International Organization for Migration, said, "Only when we ourselves are equipped and fully prepared, we can reach everyone, leaving no one behind. We can build a future world everyone is probably protected, empowered, and equipped to shape their own future."
