(VOVworld) - Vietnam National Day was held at 2015 Expo Milan in Italy’s northern city of Milan on Saturday.

Among the attendees were Barbara Degani, Deputy Secretary of Italy's Ministry of Environment, Giuseppe Sala, chief executive of Expo Milano 2015, Hoang Tuan Anh, Vietnamese Minister of Culture, Sports, and Tourism, and Cao Chinh Thien, Vietnamese Ambassador to Italy.

In her address, Madam Degani said through the event international friends better understood Vietnam, one of the world's most dynamic countries with the best prospects for economic growth in Southeast Asia. She expressed her hope that Vietnam will continue to have major contributions to global development.
