The “international intersection”, a popular attraction for foreign backpackers, in Ta Hien street in the heart of Hanoi’s Old Quarter is empty. Apart from bars and karaoke parlors, many food stalls and cafes are closed. Shops and cafes on Ta Hien street have been shut down since August 1.
