Da Nang’s remarkable changes 50 years after liberation

(VOVWORLD) - Since it was liberated 50 years ago, Da Nang has recorded spectacular achievements in socio-economic development.
Since 1997, when it was separated from Quang Nam province, Da Nang has undergone rapid development, becoming the political, economic, and social center of Central Vietnam and the Central Highlands.

The Han River bridge was built on September 2, 1998 and completed on March 29, 2000, coinciding with the 25th anniversary of Da Nang's liberation.

Vietnam's first cable-stayed swing bridge was designed and constructed by Vietnamese engineers and workers. Today, it remains the only swing bridge in Vietnam.
