These decor baskets include Tet staples like banh chung, five-fruit tray, and peach blossom, all of which look animated.
This year, handicraft items are much sought after.
Each shop carries decoration items lingering the traditional Tet spirit.
"These handicrafts were made since the end of December, now they are almost finished," a seller said.
A complete set consisting of the five-fruit tray, peach blossom, pomegranate flowers, and confetti can sell for millions of VND.
The traditional decorative threads are sold in various eye-catching designs.
For many families, the tradition of hanging red couplets is an essential part of the Lunar New Year celebrations.
