The project was initially launched by the youth union of Ha Dong district with the aim of providing information about the pandemic. Mural paintings are featured throughout Vu Trong Khanh street in Ha Dong district.
The murals attract people by both the lively drawings and the meaningful message they convey.
“Together we fight COVID-19”, “For a COVID-free world”, "Prevent, detect, quarantine, localize, stamp out the COVID-19 pandemic"
Images of frontline healthcare workers in the battle against COVID-19 are vividly portrayed.
The artworks call for people to continue pandemic prevention measures, including wearing masks, frequently washing hands, so on.
A mural painting warns local people who show symptoms such as a fever, a cough, or shortness of breath, to head to their nearest healthcare station for examination and treatment.
The Health Ministry’s 5K message comprises of Khau trang (face masks), Khu khuan (disinfection), Khoang cach (distancing), Khong tu tap (no large gatherings), and Khai bao y te (health declarations).
Children take photos alongside the mural paintings.
