Most of the Vietnamese workers in Libya have returned home

 (VOVworld) – Most of the Vietnamese workers evacuated from Libya to Egypt are on their way home.

92 Vietnamese workers who safely fled to Tunisia  will fly home in the next few days.

Egyptian Airlines flight MS 960 carrying 143 Vietnamese workers departed from Cairo international airport late on Wednesday. On Wednesday, another 214 Vietnamese workers left Cairo for Vietnam, raising the number of returnees to 677. These workers were working for Korea’s Hyundai Engineering Corporation in eastern Libya under contracts with the Vietnam Manpower Supply and Commercial Joint Stock Company (Vinamex). Vietnamese Ambassador to Libya Dao Duy Tien said 92 Vietnamese workers were safely evacuated to Tunisia via the Ras Ajdir border gate on Wednesday, and will fly home in the next few days.
