US wants to maintain Saudi ally
(VOVWORLD) - US President Donald Trump said on Sunday that he wants to maintain the US alliance with Saudi Arabia despite concerns over the killing of Saudi journalist Jamal Khashoggi.

In an interview on “Fox News Sunday”, President Trump said that the Saudi Crown Prince had told him as many as five times — including as recently as a few days ago — that he had no involvement in the killing. Trump added that who is responsible for the killing of Khashoggi may never be known.
Khashoggi, a columnist for The Washington Post, had been missing since he entered the Saudi consulate in Istanbul on Oct. 2. The Saudi authorities said that Khashoggi died in a "brawl" inside its consulate.
