VOVWORLD broadcasters are adapting to digital media by using new tools and finding more effective ways to bring Vietnam stories to audiences around the globe.

The capital is offering nighttime cultural tours, where economic development goes hand in hand with preserving heritage and local identity, and improving residents' quality of life.

[VOVWORLD] - Picture books, with simple text and vivid illustrations, are gaining growing  attention from Vietnamese parents and children. These books are favored for their role in nurturing young minds, emotions, and aesthetic appreciation.

[VOVWORLD] - The spirit of Vesak, or Buddha’s birthday, are resonating throughout Vietnam these days. This year marks Buddhist calendar year 2570. It’s a commemoration of the birth of Shakyamuni Buddha and also a reminder of compassion, wisdom, national unity and social responsibility.

[VOVWORLD] - Ho Chi Minh’s thought on great national unity is one of the core elements of the ideological foundation of the Communist Party of Vietnam. It has been a key source of strength behind Vietnam’s revolutionary victories. In the Central Highlands, a strategic region where many ethnic groups live together, this spirit of unity has helped strengthen community bonds, maintain stability, develop local villages, and build public trust in the Party.

[VOVWORLD] - Vietnam's history is an endless source of inspiration for those working in artistic and cultural fields and has paved the way for some truly unique expressions among young creative people. A Hanoian named Vien Hong Quang, 31, has restored and colorized hundreds of old photographs and interviews with historical figures, including valuable footage of President Ho Chi Minh.

[VOVWORLD] - Ha Long Bay, famous for its rich ecosystem and thousands of limestone islands of various shapes and sizes scattered across crystal-clear waters, has long been an attractive destination for millions of visitors each year. The local tourism development comes along with growing pressure on the environment. Plastic waste, domestic wastewater, and the impacts of tourist boats are creating an urgent need for environmental protection at this site.

[VOVWORLD] - The border region of Lang Son has a large population of Tay, Nung, and Dao ethnic minorities, many of whom have limited proficiency in the Vietnamese language. It’s difficult for them to access information, particularly legal matters. To communicate effectively and forge closer bonds with locals, the Vietnam Border Guard force has extensively learned and used ethnic languages as part of their duty of protecting border security.

[VOVWORLD] - Prime Minister Le Minh Hung on Saturday chaired a meeting with the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism on the assigned tasks, especially the continued implementation of the Politburo’s Resolution 80 and the National Assembly Resolution on cultural development.
