The coverage spans 6,800 square km from Quang Tri province’s Dong Ha City to Hai Van Pass. Listeners can tune into VOV1 broadcasts on FM 95 MHz, while 24/7 English broadcasts are available on 104.5 MHz.
"Thua Thien Hue province holds a strategic position in national development. VOV’s extension of these two channels’ broadcasts in Vietnamese and English to the province is to provide up-to-date information to tourists. We also hope for closer cooperation between VOV and Thua Thien Hue province.", said VOV President Nguyen The Ky at a ceremony held on Friday in Thua Thien Hue provincial Radio and Television Station to officially launch the two channels’ broadcasts in north central Vietnam.

The event was part of activities to celebrate VOV’s 73rd anniversary.
Attendees of the launch ceremony included Secretary of Thua Thien Hue provincial Party Committee Le Truong Luu, Vice Chairman of the provincial People’s Committee Nguyen Dung, and VOV Vice Presidents Vu Hai and Nguyen Xuan Huy.
