Hoang won his first bronze medal at this year’s ASIAD in the men’s 800m freestyle event on Thursday.

As of 21:30PM, Friday, Vietnam stays at 15th place on the ASIAD 2023 medal tally, with 1 gold, 2 silvers, and 12 bronzes.

Host China is leading the tally with 105 golds, followed by Japan with 27 golds, and the Republic of Korea with 26 golds.
