Colourful kites fly high over Hue sky

The June 3 - 9 festival has attracted the local kite clubs from Nam Dinh, Thua Thien-Hue provinces, and Ho Chi Minh City. This year's festival has also seen the presence of kite flyers from Singapore, Malaysia, and Thailand.

Kite flyers display as many as 120 eye-catching kites coming in different shapes, sizes, types, and colours.

The festival is typically held in Tu Tuong pagoda to honour the traditional kite making craft.

(VOVWORLD) - Kite flyers from across Vietnam and three other countries gathered in the former imperial city of Hue for the Hue international kite festival 2023.
