The opening night featured a vibrant cultural and artistic program that began with a performance of “Hello Vietnam,” followed by a parade and fashion showcase of “The Essence of Vietnamese Silk” ao dai collection by designer Do Trinh Hoai Nam.
The collection was presented by all 111 Miss World contestants, who also carried hand-painted conical hats featuring iconic images of Quang Ninh’s cultural and natural heritage.
The celebration continued with a two-part artistic program titled “Welcome Miss World to Quang Ninh – Vietnam” and “Sound of Beauty.” The show brought together renowned Vietnamese performers and featured group performances by the contestants, highlighting cultural diversity, friendship, and global connections.
From August 8 to September 5, Miss World 2026 will travel across some of Vietnam’s most culturally and historically significant destinations, including Quang Ninh, Hai Phong, and Khanh Hoa provinces.
