The concert themed “Joining Hands in a Great Circle” was organized by the Party Central Committee’s Commission for Publicity and the provincial People’s Committee.
The program was structured into three acts—“Shared Origins, Shared Destiny,” “Shared Land, Shared Faith,” and “Shared Aspirations, Shared Future”. Featuring renowned artists, the concert was elaborately staged, incorporating artistic forms to create an emotionally resonant performance that fostered national pride and a spirit of solidarity.
There was a ceremonial procession of the revolutionary flame—brought by veterans from the Dinh Hoa Safe Zone—which was then passed to representatives of the younger generation to light the ceremonial cauldron at the Thai Nguyen stadium.
The Dinh Hoa Safe Zone served as the central base and resistance capital of Vietnam from 1947 to 1954 during the war against French colonization. It is now a special national historical site located in Thai Nguyen province.
