In the message sent on Saturday, the Vietnamese top leader said children nationwide in Vietnam are now growing up in better conditions, whether in cities, remote villages, border areas or on islands.
He stressed that every child deserves a peaceful childhood, access to education, protection and love. He said particular attention should be given to children in remote and disadvantaged areas, including border regions, islands and communities with large ethnic minority populations.
Mr. Lam expressed his hope that, with support from their families, teachers and society, children will grow up with compassion and a strong sense of responsibility, learn to the good deeds and do the good deeds, contributing to the future development of Vietnam.
