(VOV) – A conference of VOV collaborators in Vietnam’s Southeast region and a seminar to improve the radio’s programming were held on Sunday in Phan Thiet city, Binh Thuan province.

VOV Deputy Director Vu Hai said the radio station needs to renew its programs to meet the increasing demand of listeners: "Over the past year, collaborators in the Southeast region have made nearly 1,000 news and features. This helps diversify VOV programs. They also reflect how localities implement Government policies".

At the seminar to improve the quality of radio news and current affairs, the participants discussed measures for closer cooperation between VOV bureau in Ho Chi Minh city, VOV online, VOV TV and News Center with Radio and TV stations in the Southeast region to cover updated socio-economic events in a more appealing way on all VOV’s media.
