(VOVworld) – A Voice of Vietnam Radio (VOV) delegation led by General Director Nguyen Dang Tien is visiting Laos until September 27^th. The visit aims to boost cooperation between the two countries’ national radio stations for the 2012-2016 period. At a reception on September 26^th, Lao National Radio General Director Sipha Nonglat said he hopes to work more closely with VOV in personnel training, technical support and the operation of relay stations in northern and southern provinces. VOV General Director Nguyen Dang Tien said: “The two radio stations signed a cooperative agreement in 1990. Since then we have signed six agreements in professional training, exchanges of news stories and technical matters. Every year, there are many exchanges of visits between the radio stations so as to improve the quality of our programming.”
