(VOVworld) – The leaders of Radio the Voice of Vietnam on Thursday received representatives from Media Corp Singapore during their visit to the station.

VOV’s Deputy Director General Vu Hai informed his guests  of how VOV has developed including its 4 forms of media and more than 200 broadcast hours per day. There are programs in 12 ethnic minority and 11 foreign languages. The station also manufactures radio and TV equipment. Mr. Vu Hai said: "Radio broadcasting industry always plays an important role in many countries especially developing ones. We are also considering increasing the role that radio plays not only in remote areas but also in urban population".

Mr. Hai added that he hopes to learn more from Media Corp in advertising, holding outdoor events and other forms of multimedia.
