Exhibition on Vietnam’s 1972 aerial victory

(VOvworld) – 80 documents, photos, video tapes, and movies will mark the 40th anniversary of the Hanoi - Dien Bien Phu in the air victory. The exhibition documenting fierce American bombing raids and Hanoi’s Dien Bien Phu in the air victory, takes visitors back to 12 harrowing days and nights in December, 1972.

There is a video tape showing the struggle of Vietnamese people and soldiers against the last major American operation in Vietnam from December 18th to 30th, 1972, after the Paris Conference failed. Hanoi, Hai Phong, and Thai Nguyen suffered the most under the American carpet bombing. The film showed brave soldiers and civilians defeating the air strike, forcing the American to sign the Paris Treaty to end the war in Vietnam.
