(VOVWORLD) - This week's Melody of the Homeland features artist Le Anh Dung, who rose to fame after participating in the National Morning Star Singing Contest (Sao Mai Diem Hen) in 2007. The contest has been held by Vietnam's television, VTV, every 2 years since 1997, to promote talents across the country and overseas. Dung won the first prize in the chamber music category and the title of "Favourite Singer".
