(VOVWORLD) - 2 people were stabbed to death in London in separate attacks in the early hours of New Year’s Day.

Police have launched murder investigations in Camberwell, South London, and London’s West End.
Another stabbing occurred a day earlier at Victoria Station, Manchester, leaving 3 people injured, including a police officer. A man was arrested at the scene. British media quoted witnesses as saying the suspect shouted “Allah” while committing the crime.
