Xinhua news agency quoted the Anti-Defamation League (ADL) as saying in its report Murder and Extremism in the United States in 2015 that the toll was more than the two previous years combined.

2015 saw three of the deadliest attacks by domestic extremists in the US in the past 50 years: the Dec. 2 shooting rampage in San Bernardino, California; the June 17 shooting massacre in Charleston, South Carolina; and the July 16 shooting attacks in Chattanooga, Tennessee.
The ADL report found that the killers came from extremist movements. ADL experts say the figures show a dangerous fact of domestic extremism while the leaders have not reached consensus on weapons control.
