The 3-day event aimed to promote traditional cultural values and introduce Kon Tum’s potential in economic development, culture, tourism, and investment. The event featured a street festival, a food festival, a cultural heritage exhibition, traditional folk games, wood statue carving, tourism products, and picnic tours. Tran Thi Nga, Vice Chairwoman of Kon Tum provincial People’s Committee, said: “The Kon Tum Culture and Tourism Week received the active participation from Central Highlands provinces, Quang Nam, Quang Ngai, and An Giang. There were sidelines activities like meetings with 20 Republic of Korean businesses, who want to cooperate with and invest in Kon Tum province. We hope through such festival, the cultural value of ethnic groups in the Central Highlands and in Kon Tum province in particular will be preserved and promoted.”
