50 million doses of Pfizer vaccine to arrive in Vietnam in Q4

(VOVWORLD) - Vietnam will likely receive a large amount of COVID-19 vaccines in the 4th quarter of this year, including up to 50 million doses of Pfizer, Health Minister Nguyen Thanh Long said on Monday. 

The Health Ministry has asked localities to speed up vaccination. By Monday morning, 6.5 million doses of COVID-19 vaccines had been administered nationwide.

Vietnam needs 150 million doses to cover 70% of its population by early next year.
