The Main Press Centre (MPC) and the International Broadcasting Convention (IBC) for the event are located at the National Convention Centre in Hanoi.

Doan Khac Viet, Deputy Director of the Press Information Department of the Foreign Ministry and the Games’ MPC, said, “We’ve mobilized a large number of officials and reporters from the Ministry’s Press Information Department and volunteers to carry out the Centre’s activities and support reporters during the Games.”

He added, “The Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism has coordinated with localities hosting the Games’ events and competitions to arrange visits to local tourist attractions for foreign reporters. On the opening day of the Main Press Centre, Quang Binh province gave foreign reporters a tour of Son Doong cave and other scenic spots in the province.”

The Games’ organizing board has provided maximum support in obtaining visas to foreign reporters. Reporters with press cards to cover SEA Games 31 will find it easier to enter Vietnam at airports and move between competition venues.
