Activities held nationwide to mark CPV’s 90th founding anniversary

(VOVWORLD) - The Communist Party of Vietnam (CPV) has received congratulatory messages from around the world on the occasion of its 90th founding anniversary.

Leaders of political parties hailed the role of the CPV in the fight for national independence and freedom, the building of the first socialist country in Southeast Asia in 1945, and national reunification in 1975. They called Vietnam a shining example and a source of inspiration and said they hope to boost cooperation with the CPV.

During a seminar in Ho Chi Minh city on Monday, Secretary of the Youth Union of Saigontourist travel company Le Thi Ngoc Uyen urged the Youth Union to create an environment in which young people can learn and share information about Party guidelines and State laws.

"The Youth Union should promote communication activities and honor outstanding members to encourage self-development," said Uyen.
