Ambassador Nguyen Ngoc Son presents credentials to Co-Prince of Andorra

(VOVworld) - Vietnamese Ambassador Nguyen Ngoc Son presented his credentials to Francois Hollande, French President and Co-Prince of Andorra. Mr. Son said Vietnam want to improve its ties with Andorra. The Co-prince said Andorra is a small state but an active member of the EU and it wants to develop relations with all countries.

Andorra is an independent state in the Pyrenees Mountain between France and Spain. The Co-princes of Andorra are the two rulers of the Principality of Andorra: the French President and the Bishop of Catalonia, Spain.

Vietnam established relations with Andorra in 2007 and Vietnam held its first cultural day in Andorra in 2014. Nguyen Ngoc Son is Vietnam’s Ambassador to France, Portugal, Monaco, Andorra and the Central African Republic. Mr. Son presented his credentials to Bishop Joan Enric Vivesi Sicilia, the other Co-prince of Andorra, on May 21.
