The meeting concluded by issuing a statement condemning Israel’s annexation of any part of Palestine’s territory, calling on Israel to help build a lasting peace, and underlining the need to return to serious talks aimed at solving the Palestinian-Israeli conflict by creating a two-state solution.

The Arab ministers called Israel's proposed annexation a violation of international law that undermines the two-state solution and all efforts to achieve peace in the region.

They reiterated their support for Palestinians’ rights, including the right to an independent nation with its capital in East Jerusalem, and called on the international community to take unambiguous steps to block the Israeli annexation plan.

Following the conference, the Foreign Ministers of France, Germany, Egypt, and Jordan concurred that Israel’s annexation of the Palestinian territories occupied in 1967 would damage bilateral ties and would be a violation of international law that imperils peace in the Middle East.

There has been no response from Israel.
