On this occasion, Vietnam-Argentina relations have been covered in depth by Vietnam’s press. The Nhan Dan (People) newspaper ran an article on strengthening Vietnam-Argentina comprehensive ties, highlighting the fine development since the establishment of diplomatic ties in October, 1973. The joint statement released during Prime Minister Dung’s visit to Argentina affirmed rapidly growing relations which reach strategic level. The two countries share similar viewpoints and have supported each other on global issues at multilateral forums and international organizations.

The People’s Army newspaper underscored that the Vietnam-Argentina cooperation will benefit both countries and regions. Argentina will help Vietnam get closer to the South American common market while Vietnam will bridge Argentina and ASEAN.
