(VOVworld) -  100 students from ASEAN countries studying in Western Australia participated in a seminar called “ASEAN Intergovernmental Commission on Human Rights (AICHR): Prospects and Challenges” held in Perth in early October.

The seminar, co-organised by the Consular Corps and ASEAN students’ council in Perth, aimed to strengthen collaboration among ASEAN citizens, especially ASEAN students in Western Australia, and widen their knowledge of the organisation’s institutions, including the AICHR.

Representatives of Vietnam, Indonesia, Malaysia, and Brunei gave presentations on the situation, prospects, and challenges of the AICHR.
