At least 14 killed and dozens injured in Prague shooting
(VOVWORLD) -A gunman is dead after opening fire in the Faculty of Philosophy building at Charles University in Prague, killing at least 14 people and injuring dozens of others on Thursday.

According to Czech police, the suspect was a student at the art faculty and the incident is not related to international terrorism.
All police patrols and rescue forces, including helicopters, were quickly sent to the shooting site, while the Czech Republic's central military hospital is ready to receive and treat victims.
Deputy Prime Minister and Interior Minister of the Czech Republic Vit Rakusan swiftly arrived at the scene and said the situation was very serious.
Czech President Petr Pavel, who is visiting Paris, France, said he was "shocked" by the shooting and offered his condolences to the relatives of the victims.
Earlier on Thursday, a 16-year-old student injured a staff member at a high school in the Trebic region with a knife and local police are investigating this as an intentional murder.
