Australia deploys searchers to find flight MH-370’s black box

(VOVworld) – The Australian Joint Agency Coordination Centre (JACC) said Sunday that it has deployed planes and vessels to an area in the Indian Ocean where signals consistent with the black box frequency of missing flight MH-370 have been detected.

The UK’s HMS Echo is en route to help the Chinese vessel Haixun 01 investigate signals detected earlier at the frequency of 37.5 KHz.
The Royal Australian Air Force has also deployed aircraft to the area. The Australian Vessel Ocean Shield detected another signal in the search area, but Australia has drawn no conclusion about the new signal.
Although Malaysia and other countries have mobilized the largest search in the history of world aviation, the location of the missing plane’s black box is still unknown. The black box, wherever it is, will run out of power by Monday, 30 days after the plane’s mysterious disappearance.
