Austria’s ODA helps improve living conditions in Vietnam’s disadvantaged areas
(VOVWORLD) -Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc said that Austria’s ODA has helped Vietnam improve living conditions in disadvantaged areas. He made the statement at a meeting to bid farewell to outgoing Austrian Ambassador Thomas Loidl on Thursday.

Prime Minister Phuc spoke highly of the ambassador’s services to deepening bilateral ties between the two countries. He asked the two Ministries of Foreign Affairs to organize practical activities to celebrate the 45th anniversary of diplomatic ties this year. Vietnam expects that Austria will back the EU to ratify the Vietnam-EU Free Trade Agreement to generate opportunities for businesses.
Ambassador Loidl said the Austrian government gives priority to boosting economic and trade cooperation with Vietnam. Austria will continue to provide ODA for Vietnam and help the country gain practical outcomes.
