(VOVworld)- An Awards ceremony for the 2015 Writing Contest on Agriculture, Farmers and Rural Areas took place in Hanoi on Saturday.

The organising board selected 111 articles to be published in Nhan Dan daily newspaper. Among 31 works in the final round, 20 works received awards, including one First, three Second, six Third prizes and ten consolation prizes. In his address, National Assembly Vice Chairman Uong Chu Luu highlighted the significance of the writing contest. On the occasion, the organizing board launched another writing contest for 2016 with the theme “Building a commodity-oriented agriculture”.
