Bright prospect for Vietnam's export of denim clothing products

(VOVWORLD) -Vietnam exports up to 70 million denim clothing products every year, and the figure is expected to rise in 2024, with large orders coming in and more investments being made to take advantage of the EU-Vietnam Free Trade Agreement (EVFTA), said a major trader on Tuesday.

Indian wholesale trader Balaji Enterprises, who is also holding this year’s Denimsandjeans Vietnam Show scheduled to take place in Ho Chi Minh City on June 26-27, told reporters on Tuesday about Vietnam's denim export prospect.  

Vietnam’s denim and jeans products fall into the mid to high-end categories with sustainable development standards.

The industry is also expected to see more than 10% growth each year for the next five to seven years.
