Ca Mau Gas Processing Plant inaugurated
(VOVWORLD) -The Ca Mau Gas Processing Plant was inaugurated at Khanh An industrial park in Ca Mau province on Wednesday. Invested by the PetroVietnam Gas Joint Stock Corporation (PVGas), the new plant has a capacity of producing 600 tonnes of LPG and 35 tonnes of condensate per day to meet 10% of domestic market demand.

Addressing the ceremony, NA Chairwoman Nguyen Thi Kim Ngan said the petroleum sector has made significant contributions to Vietnam’s comprehensive economic reform and rapid growth in recent years. It’s a spearhead economic sector and an important player in natural resource management and development.
She highlighted the petroleum sector’s political task associated with defending national marine sovereignty. Mrs. Ngan said the Vietnamese Party and government have created incentive policy to support the development of the Vietnam Oil and Gas Group, including PVGas.
