Can Tho’s Floral Lantern Street welcomes Tet
(VOVWORLD) - A Floral Lantern Street featuring over 80,000 flower pots and fruit trees opens in Can Tho City on Friday. Flowers are arranged in three topics showcasing the beauty of the country, Can Tho’s 15 flower seasons, and Tet traditions of the southern region.
Pig, the zodiac sign of the Lunar New Year 2019, is featured with various images. Bui Thanh Thao, a visitor, said: “The Floral Street is attractive with traditional and modern features. I’m impressed by typical images of Can Tho City and the Mekong Delta. Symbolic architectural works of other localities have been recreated along the street to introduce visitors to national heritages.”
The Floral Lantern Street will open until next Saturday.
