During a meeting on Wednesday, the Deputy Prime Minister praised the faithfuls for their contribution to national development, especially in combating the pandemic. He wished the Archbishop and local dioceses a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.

“On the occasion of the Christmas and the New Year, the Party and State leaders wish that the Archbishop and the Vietnam Catholic Bishops’ Conference and followers promote their bond in compliance with the law and regulation, especially the Pope’s teaching “good Catholic is a good citizen in respect of the God with patriotism for people’s happiness,” the Conference’s principle of practicing good deeds for a united, strong and bright Vietnam,” Mr. Minh said. 

On this occasion, President of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Do Van Chien sent his letter of congratulations to Christian followers and dignitaries nationwide.
