The Politburo member and Head of the Party’s Central Committee’s Commission for Mass Mobilization Ha Thi Khiet, met with the Archbishop of Hanoi’s Catholic Diocese Nguyen Van Nhon

(VOVworld)- The Politburo member and Head of the Party’s Central Committee’s Commission for Mass Mobilization Ha Thi Khiet, met with the Archbishop of Hanoi’s Catholic Diocese Nguyen Van Nhon in Hanoi on Monday. In her address, Ms Khiet highlighted the Vietnamese Party and State’s consistent policy of respecting the freedom of religion and facilitating religious followers to participate in social activities. Khiet expressed her hope that Catholic followers would join efforts with other Vietnamese people to contribute to national development. Archbishop Nhon said Catholic dignitaries and followers would actively respond to the Party guidelines and State policies. Nhon proposed that local authorities should continue to facilitate Catholic followers in practicing their religion.
