(VOVworld) – The Israeli government announced Wednesday that China has agreed to send thousands of construction workers to Israel to help ease the housing crisis in the Middle East.

A joint statement from the Israeli interior and finance ministries said the agreement would see 6,000 Chinese workers arrive in Israel in the six months after the deal is signed at the end of February.
