China’s Jiangsu province wants to boost ties with Vietnam

(VOVWORLD) - Secretary of China’s Jiangsu provincial Party Committee Lou Qinjian says Jiangsu wants to foster cooperation and share experience with Vietnam in economics and industrial park development, people-to-people exchanges, culture, and tourism.

He made the statement during a meeting with Vietnam's National Assembly Chairwoman Nguyen Thi Kim Ngan in Nanjing city, the capital of Jiangsu province, on Monday.

NA Chairwoman Ngan hailed China as Vietnam’s largest trade partner. She said in Vietnam’s external policy, China is a partner of top significance, especially in politics, diplomacy, economy, science, technology, and people-to-people exchanges.

Ms. Ngan urged Chinese localities like Jiangsu to realize commitments made by the two countries’ leaders to their comprehensive strategic partnership.
