Chinese ships enter disputed territorial waters with Japan

(VOVworld) – 3 Chinese Coast Guard (CCG) ships have entered Japanese territorial waters off the disputed Senkaku or Diaoyu islands in the East China Sea, said the Japan Coast Guard (JCG) on Friday.
This is the first incursion since September 20th and the twenty-fourth this year.

According to JCG, a Japanese patrol ship warned the Chinese Haijing 2113, 2146 and 2350 ships to leave Japanese territorial waters, but China said in a statement that the territorial waters belong to China and that Japanese ships were the violators. The disputes in the territorial waters have worsened China-Japan relations, especially after the Japanese government nationalized 3 of the 5 Senkaku/Diaoyu islands.
