Delegates from 23 major political parties in Asia reviewed ICAPP activities since the 21st conference in Turkey and discussed preparations for the Congress in Sri Lanka in September.

While discussing regional developments, especially tensions in the East Sea, the Vietnamese delegates stressed the need to abide by the principle of not employing unilateral acts, abiding by international law, and using peaceful measures and negotiations to resolve territorial disputes. They wanted the ICAPP to promote its role in maintaining peace and stability in the region.
On the sidelines of the conference, the Vietnamese delegates discussed issues of mutual concerns with representatives from the United Russia Party, the Communist Party of China, and others.
