Community steps in to bring Tet to the unfortunate
(VOVWORLD) - The Vietnam Red Cross Society and Ninh Thuan province’s Red Cross Society presented 150 Tet gifts worth 4,000 USD to the poor in NinhThuan province on Monday.
Quang Tri province hosted charity programs for policy beneficiaries and people with disabilities on the occasion of the Lunar New Year. The provincial Association of Victims of Agent Orange/Dioxin visited and presented Tet gifts worth 53,000 USD to disadvantaged people.
Tien Giang’s Labour Confederation launched a community support program worth 300,000 USD to give Tet gifts and train and bus tickets to workers.
