They also touched upon improving the efficiency of safe food chains from production to trading.

Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade Cao Quoc Hung said activities to connect product consumption have contributed to forming supply chains among producers and distributors thus helping consumers access safe food products easier.

“The Ministry of Industry and Trade hopes to receive comments from ministries, agencies, businesses, and economists to understand the demands for safe food consumption and put forth plans to increase trading in the domestic market,” said Hung.

A series of activities supporting the consumption of safe food will take place downtown Hanoi this weekend.
