(VOVworld) – The production and trade conditions of enterprises in the first half of this year were better than last year and will further improve during the rest of the year.

The Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry released a report on the business situation in the first 6 months of this year in Hanoi on Thursday. Delegates said the macro economy in the reviewed period had been stable, creating conditions for production to recover. Exports have increased while inflation has been controlled. The report said that in order to improve business activities in future, enterprises should increase reform and apply science and technology in production to gain higher labor productivity, improve quality, and reduce costs.
